Learning Center FAQ

What are the system requirements?

Recommended browsers are:

  • Google Chrome 22 or higher
  • Mozilla Firefox 15 or higher
  • MS Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher

Note that add-ons and toolbars can affect any browser’s performance.

The following browser settings must be enabled:

  1. 1.    Cookies
  2. 2.    Pop-ups (in both Internet browser and security software)
  3. 3.    Javascript

 

The following must be installed and enabled

Adobe Flash Player version 10 or higher is REQUIRED to view recordings

 

What is the ideal user environment for viewing the Learning Center?

 

  1. Find a quiet room, preferably with a closed door to help minimize distractions and noise.
  2. Silence email, text messengers, and phones.
  3. Make sure to dedicate enough time to view a lesson uninterrupted. Most lessons are less than an hour.
  4. If you are interrupted, pause the recording and note where you left off in case you have to return at a later time.

 

How do I log in?

 

Your Customer Care Center User Name and Password are your Learning Center User Name and Password. 

 

What if my login doesn’t work?

 

If your login credentials do not work contact technical support, at 1.412.256.9020 or techsupport@frsoft.com.  They can assist you with resetting your password or creating your Customer Care Login if one does not exist. 

 

 

What order should I view the lessons?

 

Lessons are divided into three parts; Video Lesson, Hands-On Training, and Assessment.  They should be viewed in that order.  The Video Lesson provides visual instruction on the topic.  Hands-On Training provides an opportunity for the student to apply what they learned in the Video Lesson with assistance.  The Assessment verifies that the topic has been learned. 

 

Can I retake an Assessment?

 

Assessments can be retaken as many times as necessary.  A checkbox appears on the Assessment Video Screen which will enable retaking the Assessment.

 

What is required to pass an Assessment?

 

Assessments are considered completed if the student scores 80% or higher.

 

I completed and passed an Assessment. Why is it not listed as completed?

 

Completion of Assessments is calculated on a periodic basis by the Learning Center.  Your result may not be registered immediately after completing an Assessment.

 

How do I receive my certificate?

 

Once ALL Assessments have been completed successfully for a course the certificate will become available above all of the lessons.  Click on the certificate and it will allow you to view it and also email it to the student’s registered email address.  Certificates can be viewed multiple times.

 

What do I do if I encounter and issue?

 

If you encounter any issues while using the Learning Center please contact technical support, at techsupport@frsoft.com or 1.412.256.9020, so they can assist you.

 

What are Learning Center Credits?

 

Learning Center Credits are needed to enroll in courses on the Learning Center.  Each Credit can be used for a single student per course.  For Example: Three students enrolled in Work Orders would require three Learning Center Credits.

 

How are Learning Center Credits Purchased?

 

Learning Center Credits can be purchased by contacting your Four Rivers Sales Representative.

 

How do I enroll in a course?

 

Upon receiving your order for Learning Center Credits your organization will be contacted by the Four Rivers eLearning Coordinator to obtain a list of courses and attendees.  Otherwise you may contact elearning@frsoft.com to request enrollment.
